Principal's Message

It is my pleasure to continue to serve our school community as your principal.  As we begin the 2026–2027 academic year, I am filled with enthusiasm and pride in our commitment to student success. At McKinley Avenue Elementary School our focus remains on nurturing the whole child by promoting student achievement, strengthening parent engagement, supporting social-emotional learning, and expanding opportunities in STEAM education.

At the heart of the work is creating a welcoming learning environment that fosters student achievement. This year, we will continue to set high expectations and challenge our students with rigorous, engaging instruction and provide the support needed for every student to succeed academically. We continues to make academic gains and we remain committed to fostering a learning environment where all students feel seen, heard, and valued—because inclusion is not just a value, it’s a daily practice at McKinley.

At McKinley we also believe that student success is a team effort, and parental and community engagement and involvement is vital. Whether volunteering, attending school events, or staying connected with your child’s progress, your partnership makes a difference. We encourage all families to become and remain actively engaged in our school.

This year will be a year of growth, connection, and celebration. I look forward to working alongside each of you to make 2026–2027 our best year yet!
